What studios need from an entry-level portfolio

Clarity, relevance, judgment, and evidence of iteration matter more than filling a portfolio with unrelated work.
What studios need from an entry-level portfolio

An entry-level portfolio should make it easy to understand what role the applicant wants and what they can currently contribute. A smaller body of relevant, well-explained work is usually more useful than a large collection without a clear direction.

Reviewers look for fundamentals, judgment, consistency, and evidence that feedback improved the result. Breakdowns should clarify the applicant’s contribution, tools, constraints, and decisions without overwhelming the finished work.

Inviox portfolio reviews focus on that clarity. Students identify the role they are pursuing, compare their work with current expectations, and build a realistic improvement plan rather than chasing presentation trends without purpose.
